Team Melbardis (LAT) gewinnt auch erstes IBSF 4er Bob Europacuprennen
Olympia Bob Run
Heute wurde das erste von zwei 4er Bob Europacuprennen ausgetragen. Wie gestern waren die Mitarbeiter und Helfer aufgrund des starken Schneefalls sehr gefordert. Dank des unermüdlichen Einsatzes aller Beteiligten konnte aber ein faires und tolles Rennen durchgeführt werden.
Erneut konnte sich das Team Melbardis aus Lettland gegen die anderen 19 Mannschaften durchsetzen. Das lettische Team gewann 75 Hundertstel vor Team Buchmueller (GER) und 94 Hundertstel vor Team Hafer (GER). Die Top-6 wurden von Team Linuchev, Team Popov (beide RUS) und Team Meyerhans (SUI) komplettiert. Unmittelbar hinter Team Meyerhans landete das Team von Clemens Bracher (SUI). Die weiteren Schweizer Mannschaften: Team Rohner beendete das Rennen als 18. und Team Holinger kam leider zu Sturz.

Morgen, Sonntag, 15. Januar 2017 ab 9 Uhr, findet das letzte Europacup-Rennen dieser Saison am Olympia Bob Run St. Moritz-Celerina statt. Wieder werden 20 Teams um den Sieg fahren. Kommen auch Sie an den Olympia Bob Run und feuern Sie die Athleten aus 11 Nationen an. Der Eintritt ist frei.
Team Melbardis (LAT) wins also the first IBSF 4men bobsleigh Europe Cup race
Today, the first of the two 4men bobsleigh Europe Cup competitions took place. Like yesterday, the staff and the helpers had to work a lot due to the heavy snowfall. Thanks to their tireless commitment, it was possible to have a fair and great race.
Team Melbardis (LAT) celebrated again its victory against the other 19 teams. The Latvian Team won 75 hundreths ahead of Team Buchmueller (GER) and 94 hundreths ahead of Team Hafer (GER). Also in the Top-6: Team Linuchev, Team Popov (both RUS) and Team Meyerhans (SUI). Team Bracher (SUI) finished the race just behind Team Meyerhans. Furthermore Team Rohner finished in 18th place and unfortunately Tim Holinger had a crash.

Tomorrow, Saturday, 15th January 2017 from 9am, the last Europe Cup race of this season will take place at the Olympia Bob Run St. Moritz-Celerina. 20 teams will fight again for the victory.
