Monobob - a new sport finds its way
Olympia Bob Run
A few years ago people laughed about the new "things" (here a video from the IBSF to present this sport) at the bob tracks. But mainly at the Olympia Bob Run in St. Moritz-Celerina more and more persons realized the potential of this sport: Close to everybody can ride a monobob and mainly for young and disabled athletes it is an interesting way to get in touch with the sport of bobsleigh in general.
Now, more than half a decade later, monobob was included in the Youth Olympic Games programme and the first Youth Olympic Champions were crowned. Here you can find an interesting article (from the website of the YOG) about the monobob-competitions in Lillehammer.

Monobob- ein Sport findet seinen Weg
Vor einigen Jahren wurde noch über die neuen "Sachen" (hier ein Video des IBSF um die Sportart zu präsentieren) auf den Bobbahnen gelacht. Aber speziell am Olympia Bob Run in St. Moritz-Celerina erkannten immer mehr Personen das Potenzial dieser Sportart: Fast jeder kann einen Monobob fahren und vor allem für junge und behinderte Athleten ist es eine interessante Möglichkeit um mit dem Bobsport generell in Kontakt zu treten.
