Beat Hefti and Alex Baumann from Switzerland win the final IBSF Europe Cup 2men bobsleigh race
Olympia Bob Run
After the skeleton races in the morning, the IBSF Europe Cup competitions continued in the afternoon with the last 2men bobsleigh competition of this season.
The former World Champion Beat Hefti and Alex Baumann from Switzerland won gold, 62 hundreths ahead of Team Andrianov from Russia. Team Hefti impressed also with their shown push performances. Team Lochner from Germany, who celebrated their victory in the overall ranking of the 2men bobsleigh Europe Cup, won the bronze medal. Also in the top 6: Team Hafer from Germany, Team Olsen (USA) and Team Tasker (GBR).

Nach den Skeletonrennen am Morgen, gingen die IBSF Europacup Rennen für die Herren mit dem letzten 2er Bobrennen der Saison weiter.
Der ehemalige Schweizer Weltmeister Beat Hefti gewann zusammen mit Alex Baumann, vor dem Team Andrianov aus Russland, Gold. Die Schweizer beeindruckten übrigens auch mit ihren gezeigten Leistungen am Start. Team Lochner aus Deutschland freute sich nicht nur über die Bronzemedaille, sondern auch über den Gesamteuropacupsieg im 2er Bob. Ebenso in den Top 6: Team Hafer aus Deutschland, Team Olsen (USA) und Team Tasker (GBR).
